A Season of Wishes

Star light, star bright, the first star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight.

Last season Mason and Maverick, along with family and friends raised enough money to sponsor a child through the Kansas City Make-a-Wish® Foundation. Our family wants to continue this legacy in memory of Mason. This year we are dedicating our Christmas lighting display in honor of Mason and Make-a-Wish®. Maverick continues to make Wiscurzoos to support Make-a-Wish®.

Please help us reach our goal of sponsoring another child's wish. Our ultimate goal is to sponsor two children this year.

About Mason Arik

Mason was diagnosed with Diffuse Pontine Glioma (Brain Tumor) (04/22/10). He courageously battled his cancer for 11 1/2 months. On March 29th, 2011, it was snowing in Heaven. He is and will be missed forever. We will continue to write and share the strength and courage that Mason has taught us as well as the many other lives he has touched, near and far. To continue Mason's dream and his memory, we dedicate this blog to him.
