Eileen Keller Memorial Golf Tournament

The Eileen Keller Memorial Golf
Tournament has raised more than $115,000 over its 9-year history. In 2010, we
generated over $15,000 in donations which allows the Make-A- Wish Foundation®
of Greater Los Angeles to grant wishes to 2 more children.
This event is a small way to honor the memory and life of our mom whom we lost
to cancer in 2000. She lived and loved from her heart in everything she did and
brought happiness to many children through her volunteering and charity. The
Make-A-Wish Foundation® was her favorite charity because she knew that granting
Wishes provided a gift of love and support to children in need. The Make-A-Wish
Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical
conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Now in it's 10th year, the tournament will be moved to the Chicago-land area
for the first time. Home town to the Keller Family (Charles, Cary, Todd,
Carl, and David), this anniversary tournament's proceeds will benefit
the Make-A- Wish Foundation® of Illinois.
Together, we can change the lives of
seriously ill kids and their families.Wish
kids like Izzy count on people like us to make their wishes possible.
Izzy's wish to go to a Florida theme
park marked the anniversary of her diagnosis. The nightmare Izzy and her family
faced the previous year dissolved during her wish. Her days were full of
all-you-can-eat ice cream, carousel rides and a special dinner with her
favorite princesses. Izzy's mom shared the lasting impact of the wish
experience... "We will never forget the generosity of Make-A-Wish. We will never
forget the sincere love we have felt from the volunteers. We will never forget
that they helped us turn our definition of cancer from grief and pain to hope
and magic."
Please help by contributing any amount
you can - $30, $50, $100 or even more. Every dollar you donate can help
Make-A-Wish kids renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives.
Thank you for your support!
